About Wallet Compass

Wallet Compass is an independent, free guide to crypto wallets. We review the most widely used wallets in depth and explain how to keep crypto safe, in 12 languages.

How we review

Each review is based on the wallet's own documentation and app-store listings, independent security research and reporting by reputable outlets. We look at custody and key storage, open-source status, supported chains and devices, recovery options, fees, privacy and the wallet's security history. Facts are dated so you can see how current they are.

Why we don't link out

Fake wallet sites and apps are one of the most common ways people lose crypto, and links can be spoofed. So we name official websites as plain text and ask you to type them yourself or use a bookmark you trust.

How we are funded

We have no affiliate links, sponsorships or paid placements, and no wallet company has any say over our reviews. If that ever changes, we will say so on every affected page.
